What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure which pages of the site are visited. This measurement starts only when you choose Accept. The cookies below are written to your browser only then.

  • _ga: Distinguishes visitors from one another. Kept for 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID>: Persists session state. Kept for 2 years. The ID in the cookie name is the measurement ID written without its G- prefix (for example _ga_CD8H4Y3LC5 for G-CD8H4Y3LC5).

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used: session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity is loaded only when you choose Accept. The cookies below are written to your browser only then. On acceptance, Clarity is not given advertising storage permission.

  • _clck: Stores the Clarity user ID and preferences.
  • _clsk: Joins several page views by one visitor into a single session recording.
  • CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM: Third-party Microsoft cookies. They are used to recognise the visitor across Microsoft domains and to synchronise that ID.

Third-party cookies such as CLID and MUID are written on Microsoft's own domains. They cannot be deleted from this site and are managed by Microsoft. When you decline, Clarity is sent the command to delete cookies and stop tracking, and the page reloads. Clarity is not loaded on the reloaded page.

Dependence on your consent

If you have not chosen, or you chose Decline, the Google Analytics and Clarity scripts are not loaded, and no request is sent to Google or to Microsoft (Clarity) for them. On the Google side, advertising storage and advertising signals are off in every case.

Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage on this device. It is not a cookie.

Change your choice

You can change your choice here at any time. If you decline, Google Analytics cookies written earlier and Clarity's cookies on this site (_clck, _clsk) are deleted. If Clarity is loaded, the page reloads.
